Knot Your Granny's is a fibers practice started by Bella Willis in 2022. Bella is a Chicago based artist and has been working with fibers - primarily through crochet and knitting - since she was about seven years old. Through her undergraduate studies she had the opportunity to dive in deeper to the world of fibers exploring methods of weaving, natural dyes, hand spinning, and more. Knot Your Granny's is a product of Bella's history and passion with the medium and, of course, her busy hands.  ​

With a focus on sustainability she aims to use recycled materials as an opportunity to give fibers a new life and keep them out of land fills. As a result, each and every product has its own unique look, color palette, and history.
